Supportive Apartment Building for At-Risk Seniors
St. Anne’s Place provides assisted living to older adults and seniors, age 59+ who are experiencing mental/physical health challenges, who are or have been homeless and require affordable and supportive housing. St. Anne’s is a 110-unit high-rise building in the Dufferin and Dundas area, offering affordable housing in self-contained studio and one-bedroom apartments with kitchenettes and private washrooms. Staff are available on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Small pets are welcome.
The goal of St. Anne’s Place is to provide a friendly and supportive community for self-sufficient singles and couples. Each resident is able to take advantage of the support services he or she needs to live independently in safety and good health.
St. Anne’s residents come from diverse backgrounds and have a wide range of interests and needs. There are many opportunities for friendship and social interaction; however, you choose your own balance of privacy and the level of social involvement that suits you best.

St. Anne’s Place provides a solution for those who want to live independently but may require some support. Our accommodations enable our residents to live comfortably and independently in their own homes for as long as possible. The atmosphere is congenial – making us a friendly and supportive community living for seniors with mental and physical health challenges who are homeless.
It’s Safe and Convenient
There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance of St. Anne’s Place. High Park is close by and there is a TTC bus stop right outside the front door and Dufferin Mall is just a short ride away. There is 24 hour security and entry to the building is by key or buzzer only.
Living at St. Anne’s Place
The dining room is on the top floor of the building and offers a panoramic view of the city. There are several common areas: a light filled solarium on the top floor just off the dining room, a cozy main floor living room and Cafe area. St. Anne’s Place also includes an on-site doctor’s office, library, hair salon, spa, craft room, laundromat, tuck shop and a gently used clothing store.
Each apartment has a self-contained kitchenette complete with a small fridge and microwave so residents may prepare their own light meals if they wish. Each apartment features attractive draperies, outlets for cable, and telephone jacks. Air conditioning is available. Heating is individually controlled and many units have a small balcony.
St. Anne’s Place offers clean, bright and affordable 1 bedroom and studio apartments with a service package that allows residents to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own home for as long as possible. The service package includes one delicious main meal served mid-day, 7 days a week in the dining room. Snacks and light menu items are available for purchase.
Residents have access to support services 24 hours/seven days a week on individual basis as needed. These services include: assistance with personal care, meal preparation, essential housekeeping, laundry services, medication support, and escorts to appointments. Psychogeriatric case management services include assistance navigating the health care and social services systems, and in finding and accessing any services an individual resident may require. St. Anne’s residents also enjoy a program of activation and socialising through planned social activities, excursions and special events.
