Reverend Doctor Margaret Evelyn Fleck was a devoted member of our LOFT family for over two decades. Margaret believed that each and every member of the community deserves a dignified life. Not only was she greatly involved with LOFT Community Services as a dedicated volunteer and a donor; she also hosted an annual picnic for LOFT senior clients for many years in her home. It was an event that our clients cherished because they felt as if they were family in their backyard.
Margaret touched many lives, she gave the gift of hope to those who may have lost it. She will be deeply missed by our staff and clients, however her impact and legacy lives on through the sparks of joy and hope she added to the lives of so many. Although The Margaret Fleck Room at LOFT’s St. Anne’s place will never again light up with Margaret’s warm smile, it will continue to be a symbol of hope and unwavering support to our clients and we will forever remember her contribution to LOFT.
Our deepest sympathies to Margaret’s husband Jim, and their children, Robert, Ellen, David and Christopher.
