Planned Giving: Wills, Life Insurance, RRSP's

The thousands of people that LOFT has served since 1953 (when it was known as “Anglican Houses”) have benefited from the generosity of dozens of benefactors who have remembered LOFT in their wills. Gifts large and small have helped LOFT aid many people in need, by providing funding for important programming initiatives, in helping to purchase and renovate properties for the homeless, and by providing a stable funding base over the years.

A Planned Gift allows you to make a gift to LOFT’s work which you could not otherwise afford, since it comes from your lifetime’s accumulated assets. Planned Gifts also offer substantial tax savings to your estate, so that less goes out of your estate in taxes and more to the people and causes you love.

A Planned Gift, in the form of a bequest, or by making LOFT the beneficiary of an insurance policy, RRIF or RRSP, is a wonderful way to leave a legacy of support for the less fortune, and ensure that LOFT will be there to respond to the needs of the day, long into the future.
