LOFT Residents Win
Tickets to the Shaw Festival
LOFT residents
were asked to submit samples of their writing to have on
display at the 2009 Annual General Meeting. Names of those who
displayed their writing were entered into a draw to win tickets to the
Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, which were kindly donated by LOFT
supporter Dick Falconer, Vice Chair and Managing Director of CIBC World
Markets.
4 names were drawn at the Meeting, and so in the Fall, the winning
residents and a LOFT staff all drove to the Shaw Festival Theatre in
Niagara-on-the-Lake together for lunch and a show; they chose 'Born
Yesterday.'
Everybody raved about the play and about what a great experience it was
to all go out together and take in a play in the scenic downtown area
of NOTL.
LOFT would like to thank all the residents and staff for working so
well together to make this outing a wonderful experience for all!
