"It is a blessing to be here at
St. George House and
I don’t know where I would be
without them."

St. George House

St. George House, a high-support boarding house, is home to 26 adults with psychiatric illness and histories of homelessness or the risk of homelessness.  The majority of residents have dealt with serious mental illness for many years.

St. George House is committed to providing housing and support to clients for as long as they have need; a number of residents have lived with us for ten years or more.

Services include meal preparation, cleaning, supervision of medications and assistance with personal care activities and individualized support, with a strong emphasis on community-building social and recreational activities.

The program strongly values the promotion of resident involvement in the decisions made in the house, and residents meet regularly to discuss elements of the program that affect their daily lives.  Staff support residents in making informed choices regarding relationships, medications, finances, diet, and provide support for their educational and vocational desires.

Residents rediscover their sense of power, individuality and self-respect in a safe and caring environment where we actively promote physical and emotional health and well-being.
