LOFT
Services for
Adults
Many
of the adults supported by
LOFT have never had a safe and stable home. Most have serious mental
health and addiction challenges, two issues that are often found
amongst the homeless. Among the full range of services that LOFT offers
to the more than 1,700 adults we help each year is the only homeless
street outreach program in York Region, and the only supportive housing
program for individuals with HIV and mental illness or addiction issues
and a histories of homelessness.
We
help our service users gain
access to a permanent home, a supportive community and the ability to
take charge of their lives and live successfully with dignity.
