Crosslinks Housing and Support Services

Crosslinks Housing and Support Services was founded in 1989, when the first residential program was opened to provide supportive housing to individuals with serious mental illnesses. The program has since expanded and currently operates 7 services and has strong partnerships with other community agencies. Crosslinks is the only LOFT Community Services program located outside of the GTA. Crosslinks is in Aurora, in the heart of York Region. Services are available to individuals, aged 16 – 65 years, with serious mental illnesses, who reside in or want to reside in York Region. The 7 services include the following:

Community Support Program - provides case management

Housing Outreach Program - assists in finding suitable housing and linking to appropriate resources

Residential Services - offers a number of shared, affordable homes

Street Outreach - offers a variety of harm reduction services to the homeless and those at risk or street-involved

Homeless Initiative - provides supportive housing for those who are seriously mentally ill and homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, who both want and need our support

First Episode Services - provides supportive housing for individuals experiencing their first psychotic break

Mental Health & Justice - provides supportive housing to those with serious mental illnesses who are involved with the criminal justice system
